Personal Training Intern or Entry-Level Trainer

Join Breakthrough Fitness MN for a supportive, real-world learning opportunity where you’ll gain valuable coaching, business, and marketing experience. You’ll work with a fun and committed team, learn the skills needed to train clients effectively, and complete a meaningful project that contributes to the success of our business.

What You’ll Learn:

You’ll build a strong foundation in training, communication, and business operations. You’ll get to explore different aspects of the fitness industry, develop your professional identity, and gain practical experience in a real coaching environment. If you’re curious, coachable, and ready to learn—we want to work with you!

Responsibilities:

- Assist in training sessions and observe client interactions
- Learn and apply exercise techniques, coaching cues, and session planning
- Participate in team meetings and mentorship sessions
- Support marketing tasks (e.g., creating content, community outreach)
- Choose a small project that contributes to the business (e.g., system improvement, social media campaign, workshop planning)
- Gain experience in scheduling, communication, and client support

Qualifications:

- Current college student or recent graduate in a fitness, health, or related program
- Curious, coachable, and eager to learn hands-on in a real-world setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Passionate about helping others and pursuing a career in personal training
- Available for 8–15 hours/week (schedule flexible)
