BreakFit Outdoors is a free summer community initiative hosted by Breakthrough Fitness, running June–August. It’s designed to help people feel confident starting (or restarting) exercise in a welcoming, educational, non‑intimidating environment — outside the gym.
This series introduces our coaching philosophy through outdoor meet‑ups focused on strength and cardio fundamentals. Participants are also encouraged to join our free summer habit challenge. This challenge is designed to help you make small sustainable changes.
No more starting over every Monday!
Who It’s For:

Beginners or people returning to exercise.

Anyone intimidated by gyms or unsure where to start

Walkers, joggers, pickleball players, and recreational athletes.

Friends and family of current Breakthrough Fitness members.
Free • All levels welcome • No experience required

BreakFit Outdoors is designed to help you move more, feel stronger, and build confidence — without the pressure of a gym.

You don’t need to do everything.

You just need to start.
The Two BreakFit Outdoors Tracks:
Strong Foundations (Strength)
-
Beginner‑friendly outdoor strength training
-
Focus on movement quality, confidence, and education
-
Coaching and modifications provided
-
Emphasis on how strength training supports daily life, injury prevention, and long‑term health
Cardio Confidence (Walk‑to‑Run)
-
Inclusive cardio meet‑ups for non‑runners and runners alike
-
Focus on warm‑ups, pacing, recovery, and confidence
-
Walk, jog, or run options available
-
Optional progression toward a fall walk/run 5K (at your own pace)
Participants may attend one or both tracks, but we would love for them to attend all sessions as they will build on each other. It is not necessary to attend all of them though.
Every meet-up builds on the last, but anyone can join in!
Summer 2026 Meet‑Up Schedule
BreakFit Outdoors is FREE, but registration is required for each session.
Registering helps us:

Collect a required waiver so you’re good to go

Communicate any changes or reminders before class
Each session has its own registration link which you can click on below, so please sign up for the specific date(s) you plan to attend.
You’re welcome to join one session or the whole series — whatever fits your summer!

Sessions last approximately 60 minutes! You must register before attending.

BreakFit Outdoors Summer Challenge
Stay consistent, build confidence, and keep things simple this summer.
Your goal, should you choose to accept it:

Complete 1–2 strength workouts each week

Get in 2 cardio sessions (walk, jog, run, bike, swim — your pace, everything counts!)
-
Choose one additional habit that supports your routine (drink water, no screens before bed, etc.)
The BreakFit Outdoors meet-ups are designed to support this challenge and help you stay on track each month.
You’ll earn points for each activity you track, helping you stay motivated and consistent along the way.
The challenge resets each month so you can start fresh and stay consistent, and new participants can join at any time. No pressure for perfection — just focus on showing up and building consistency over time. If you’re moving, you’re winning!

Every fitness journey is unique, and we're excited to help you start yours. All of our new clients begin with a complimentary 45-minute discovery session. During this relaxed and friendly meeting, we'll take the time to get to know you—discussing your health, exercise history, and the goals that matter most to you.
